A traditional English jug with a pulled handle, with Nuka glaze layered over Tenmoku, causing fine, blueish white streaking, akin to a snowy mountaintop.
The Nuka ash glaze is made using locally sourced Cherry ash and a local glacial till which gives it great depth and colour, and the Tenmoku is made using almost entirely the same rock, with an addition of ground, recycled glass.
The jug holds 2 pints and is perfect for serving water (or wine) at the dinner table.
Fired in the gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere.
