Thrown on the wheel with an iron-rich stoneware clay and decorated with pellets. The glaze is a deep, black tenmoku, which is made using only one rock - a locally dug, glacial till - and ground, recycled glass.
Fired in the gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere.
