Thrown on the wheel with iron-rich blend of stoneware clay, before being squared. Glazed with a Tenmoku and Nuka Glazes.
The Nuka glaze is made using locally sourced cherry tree ash. The Tenmoku glaze is made using only one locally dug iron-bearing rock - a glacial sediment - with a small addition of crushed, recycled glass.
Fired in the Gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere.
