The thick, off-white, Nuka glaze is made using locally sourced cherry ash, and is decorated with a dark streak of crushed, local rock - a glacial sediment rich in iron. The two glazes combine, dissolving into one another in the intense heat of the fire.
Fired in the gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere.
