Thanks to the amazing support of my customers over the past 12 months, I have reached the limit of what I can produce making from my home studio, and I am expanding into a new, bigger workshop in Stoke-on-Trent. 

I’m inviting my followers to pre-order pots. As part of the expansion I’m building a new gas kiln and your pre-orders will guarantee you a pot(s) from the first few firings. Your pre-orders will help fund my setting up the new workshop and ease some of the pressure during this busy, exciting time. 

Here’s my new pottery - it’s tucked away on the Potclays site in the heart of the Potteries. Its very green, quiet and private, and most importantly there is space for many kilns(!) and for all the new equipment I’m collecting for processing materials and mixing my own clay body.

I have big plans for the next year - I’ll be continuing to work with stockists and galleries around the country, and I’m working with some very talented chefs, developing bespoke tableware. 

I’ll be broadening the palette of local materials used in my work, testing new rocks and clays to see how they can be best used. Hopefully by next year I will be up and running sufficiently to start hitting some of the Potfests and other craft shows, and meet more of you in person.
